Viola, Penny™ Denim Jump Up Viola

Penny Denim Jump Up Viola is a hardy compact uniform perennial with tight branches and toothed green heart-shaped leaves leaves.  The fragrant flowers are a deep velvet blue to violet-blue have a brighter blue to violet face have a light halo around the dark blotch and contrasting yellow eye.  The flowers have blooms in spring and fall, and can be deadheaded to prolong blooms.  Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soils.
