Full Speed A Hedge Arborvitae is a fast-growing evergreen shrub with a dense and narrow pyramidal habit.  Its flat splays of glossy rich green scale-like foliage holds its color in winter.  Best grown full sun and well-drained soils.  Drought tolerant once established.
