The Story

Sarah Mountain Laurel is a compact evergreen shrub that forms a dense mound of glossy, rich green foliage that emerges burgundy.  Showy clusters of soft red buds open to coral pink cup-shaped flowers that bloom from late spring into summer.  Flowers best with part shade and rich, moist, well-drained acidic soils.
