The Story

Husker Red Beardtongue is a compact native herbaceous perennial with rigid upright dark stems and dark green lance-shaped foliage that turns maroon.  Loose raceme of small tubular white flowers with pink blush bloom mid spring to early summer.  Grows best in partial sun and dry to medium well-drained soil.  Drought and heat tolerant.
