Hydrangea, Wee Bit Giddy® Hydrangea

Wee Bit Giddy Hydrangea is a dwarf deciduous shrub that blooms on old wood and serrated, glossy dark green leaves with no fall color.  The color of the large rounded panicles of mophead flowers depends on the soil PH - a bright red in alkaline soils, while acidic soils rich purple flowers.  The flowers attract pollinators. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. Improved disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter.  If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew.  Aphids are occasional problems.
