False Sunflower, Burning Hearts False Sunflower

Burning Hearts False Sunflower is a compact and short-lived perennial with an upright clumping habit and coarsely serrated dark green leaves overlaid with burgundy on purple stems.  The lengthy bloom of single golden yellow flowers with red-orange centers and disks cover the foliage throughout summer and into fall.  Best bloom in full sun in dry to medium well-drained soils.
