The Story

Golden Needles Threadleaf Coreopsis is a tidy perennial native with a mounding habit.  The narrow deep green foliage is topped with rich golden daisy-like with pointed petals and sharply defined deep maroon centers through summer.  Prefers full sun and dry to medium well-drained soil.  Drought, humidity, and road salt tolerance.  The Designer Threads series has excellent powdery mildew resistance.

Coreopsis verticillata is a host for the Silvery Checkerspot Buckeye butterfly, and attracts several other butterflies with its flowers.
