The Story

Parkland Pillar Birch an attractive deciduous tree with a very narrow and upright habit and striking white bark.  The dense deep green foliage turns rich gold in late fall.  Grows best with afternoon shade in the south and in moist to wet, well drained loamy soils.  Parkland Pillar is tolerant of heat drought, and alkaline soils.
